Full-time-equivalent Model

Under the “FTE model,” we allocate employees to our customer’s projects at a fixed rate per employee per period of time. During this period of time, the designated employees are dedicated to such customer’s project exclusively. We determine the level of service fees based on the number of scientists and research technicians and the amount of time required for completing a given project, among other considerations. The term of our FTE contracts may range from several months to multiple years and are subject to renewal. For the services under FTE model, we have assessed that the customers simultaneously receive and consume benefit provided by our performance. Therefore, the performance obligation of FTE services is satisfied over time and FTE revenue is recognized over the service period.

Benefits to our FTE Model

CPC provides a unique option in peptide manufacturing contracts with our Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) agreements. Designed for long-term projects involving multiple peptide targets, FTE contracts differ from our standard agreements by setting a fixed price per employee instead of pricing each individual product.

Advantages of our FTE Services:

  1. Streamlined Efficiency: FTE agreements eliminate the need for individual quotations, accelerating project initiation and reducing administrative delays.
  2. Full Transparency: Gain complete access to all synthetic methodologies, production records, and laboratory notebooks. We also offer integration with electronic notebooks for instant access to real-time production details.
  3. Minimized Downtime: Seamless transitions between projects under FTE contracts ensure uninterrupted workflow, enabling timely execution of diverse peptide-related initiatives.
